来源：为禾本科植物玉蜀黍Zea mays L.的花柱和柱头经提取分离纯化制成的提取物。
营养成分：
1：玉蜀黍须又称“龙须”，有广泛的预防保健用途，故有着“一根玉米须，堪称二两金”之说。 玉蜀黍须中含有粗纤维、粗蛋白、多糖、黄酮类、粗脂肪。研究表明，玉蜀黍须的水提物可以减少大鼠体内草酸钙结晶的体积；而玉蜀须中黄酮提取物可明显降低痛风性关节炎模型大鼠的关节肿胀程度。
2：富含酚类和黄酮类化合物的玉米须提取物常被报道为α-淀粉酶及α-葡萄糖苷酶的抑制剂。玉米须提取物能够显著降低大鼠过氧化氢或甲氧乙二醛诱导的活性氧水平，降低大鼠胰腺β细胞活力，抑制细胞增殖，改善胰岛素、葡萄糖激酶和胰腺十二指肠同源盒-1的mRNA表达，增强葡萄糖刺激胰岛素分泌，从而调节实验大鼠体内血糖水平。
